Music and Musing Series 1:
“From Dusk Till Dawn – Limits of Perception”

What is reality? What is consciousness? What is liminality?
Initiated by Professor Chow Yiu Fai, in collaboration with film philosopher Professor Patricia Pisters, Hong Kong indie band Wantamnam, and lighting designer Timothy Tsang, the event aims to blend the creative with the academic, into a multimedia performance that leads the audience to upend their senses and thoughts.

In a span of 70 minutes, we journey together, from dusk to night and into dawn, traversing the weary city, threading through empty shells, probing and reaching out, touching everything that exists and does not exist.

A multimedia experiment with music, philosophy and film, musing about the wondrous and sometimes weird worlds of insomnia, waking dreams and other moments when we reach the limits of everyday perception. A unique encounter on three concepts of liminality.
